  • Rough or jagged edges on front teeth
  • Dull colored or stained teeth

The Solution:

Composite resin is a tooth colored material that is matched to your teeth. This material is bonded to the surface of your teeth and carefully sculpted to keep a natural appearance while covering or replacing the problem area. It is then “cured” or hardened with an intense ultraviolet light.

Advantages:

When expertly crafted, this bonding provides a natural, beautiful improvement in your smile.

Disadvantages:
Bonding is initially less expensive than porcelain veneers, however,  the margins tend to break down and collect stains after several years and will eventually need to be replaced. For this reason, porcelain restorations are usually more cost effective over time.

Alternatives:
Porcelain veneers or crowns are an excellent, longer lasting alternative.
